Founded in 2008 under the direction of Matthew Larkin, the Choir is formed of professional choral scholars from the Toronto area.
the Larkin Singers has had successful tours to Bristol, UK as resident Choir at Bristol Cathedral and to New York City. they have also presented concerts in Ottawa, London and Kingston. In 2008, the Larkin Singers released its first recording, "A New Work is Come on Hand" featuring music of the Christmas season by Bach, R.V. Williams, Howells, Ord and others.
Now in its fourth season, the Larkin Singers presents a 3 concert subscription series; outreach and collaborative performances throughout Ontario. It was founded in 1898 by Albert Frommer, organist, and is now conducted by Stephan Nicolay, chapel master, since 1999. the Choir s... morethe Choir of Notre-Dame de Bon Voyage has about 35 Members and is the Choir of the parish of Cannes, on the French Riviera. It was founded in 1898 by Albert Frommer, organist, and is now conducted by Stephan Nicolay, chapel master, since 1999. the Choir sings each sunday and on special occasion in the different churches of Cannes. It also sings 4 to 6 concerts a year, sometimes with an orchestra. His repertory covers all the sacred music from gregorian chant to 21st century. Among the last masterworks done in concert with an orchestra are Requiem (Saint-Saens), Stabat Mater (Haydn), Vesperae Solennes de Confessore (Mozart), Gallia (Gounod), etc.

We have been travelling together since we were kids as Members of the Children’s Choir of Polygyros. It’s been at least 15-20 years now that we have participated in numerous festivals and concerts all over Greece but also all over Europe.
In 2005, as adults, we decided to establish this particular group with the assistance of the Children’s Choir. We have given concerts in Hungary, in several cities in Greece and especially in Chalkidiki.
In 2011 new Members have been included in the group and we have changed our name into “THAMYRIADES”.
Our repertory extends from classical to rock, pop and musical. You will have the opportunity to listen to us in selected halls.
In Greek mythology, Thamyris (Greek: Θάμυρις), son of Philammon and the nymph Argiope, was a Thracian singer who was so proud of his skill that he boasted he could outsing the Muses.
