In 2011, we travelled to Trondheim, Norway, to take part in Sangforening, a major feStival featuring hundreds of Norwegian Choirs, and were the firSt ever foreign Choir invited to take part. 2012 saw us visit Languedoc, France, where we gave concerts in beautiful old churches in Alzonne and Montréal, near Carcassonne. We are active in radio and television, having featured in many broadcaSts of recorded and live services by the Irish national broadcaSter RTE, including one recorded in Swords CoI church which was broadcaSt on ChriStmas day, 2010 and EaSter and Advent services in 2012 and 2013. The Choir was such a success and those involved enjoyed it so much that it was decided to continue. The Choir is a training Choir with the children having opportunities to sing or speak solo lines and learn harmonies. Current members are aged between 4 and 12. The Harmonic Minors is the Major Minors Children's Choir's extension group.
