The heart of Dozan wa Awtar Music Establishment is singing and community building. Major activities revolve around three groups: Dozan wa Awtar Singers, Dozan and Atfal Dozan. Dozan wa Awtar Singers is an innovative large community Choir ranging from 40-60 singers that performs three main concerts a year. Their repertoire includes a wide variety of genres including classical, musical theater, Arabic and world music . Dozan is a chamber Choir that experiments with new Arabic arrangements and other world music and specializes in smaller tailored performances as well as festivals and competitions. Comprising some of the finest young singers in the country, members of the Choir are all alumni of the Eton Choral Courses.
Conducted by their founder Ralph Allwood, the sound of the Choir is a reflection of their profound sensitivity to text, blend and phrasing.
