It was Mr. Bonnie Fonseka, a distinguished Old Boy, who's vision soon came to be a Benedictine tradition, by forming a Musical club. This prompted The birth of The first College Choir. The Choir acquired a reputation for top class singing and in addition often invited to perform at important national events such as to perform with oTher schools when princess Elizabeth visited Ceylon in 1952.
Since Mr. Bonnie Fonseka’s retirement There were many dedicated young musicians who undertook The responsibility and uphill task of training The Choir. Some of Them were Mr. Robert Joseph, Mr. Francis De Almeida, Mr. Nicholas Johnpulle, Rev Bro. Augustine and Mr. Ravein George.

During its 25 years of activity, The ensemble has won several first prizes in choral competitions in Israel and Europe, performed in many Musical festivals and events, as well as TV shows and radio programs. The ensemble collaborated with top Israeli musicians such as Yoni Rechter, Alon Olearchik and many more.
Coral Ensemble has released 3 albums: Coral Ensemble (1994), Troubdour (2010), At This Time (2017), and a recording of Tzvi Sherf's composition, based on 6 Hasidic Nigunim – Kachomer Beyad Hayotzer (As The Clay in The Potter's hand) (2019).

The CHORALE which has grown in size to over 100 singers has given numerous concerts in Lagos and oTher towns in Nigeria, including Aba, Abakaliki, Abeokuta, Abuja, Benin, Calabar, Eket, Enugu, Ibadan, Ife, Nsit Atai, Oko, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Umuahia and Uyo. Vox Camerata, has, since its inception, organized and participated in numerous performances. Its maiden recital was held in November 2004 at The function room of The Kg. Ubi Community Center. Since Then, Vox has gone one to bring its annual Musica Intimœ series of concerts to The Legends@Fort Canning, as well as The Esplanade Recital Studio.
Apart from regular recitals, Vox Camerata also performs in various collaborations with oTher organizations, as well as guest performs in various events. Vox Camerata has previously collaborated with St. Margaret's Secondary School in The Musical 'Anne of Green Gables' which was performed at The University Cultural Centre.
