It was born thanks to its director, Ludovico (Dodo) Versino, who instilled the love for choral music in high school students all across Rome, which led them all to become friends. It doesn’t have an exact date of birth, because it began as a way to get together, rather than as a formal Choir. They don’t have a uniform, a fixed meeting place, or a specific repertoire genre. Our repertoire includes a wide spectrum of choral works, and commissioned works by distinguished Hong Kong composers, including Dr. Chan Hing Yan, Dr. Victor Chan, Dr. Daniel Law, Mr. Law Wing Fai, Dr. Phoebus Lee, Mr. Michael Mak and Dr. Richard Tsang. The Chorus regularly holds annual large-scale concerts with its official orchestral partner, The Learners Orchestra, in addition to its other yearly choral concerts of a smaller scale. Academic Choir of Gdańsk University of Technology, the oldest artistic student organization at the Gdańsk University of Technology, despite current situation, has not ceased its activity. We organise ourselves, work and create. This is the first "product" of our virtual work. We did it for yourselves to give you a little respite, joy, smile, hope and faith in a better future.
