The International Singers hold a unique status amongst choirs in France by means of our repertoire and composition. Bringing togeTher very nearly 40 mixed voice Singers all sharing The same passion, They hail from countries from around The world and representative of 4 continents. The repertoire consists principally of contemporary music with anglo-saxon origins and from The very best of musical Theatre as seen in London's West End or on Broadway in New York. The International Singers are beginning to wow The people of Lille and The surrounding areas of NorThern France with concerts in public venues as well as at private functions organised by civic bodies as well as associations etc. Musical Objectives The International Singers is a choir structured around anglo-saxon values and traditions. Our goal is to make a great choral sound by learning and working togeTher. Rory Wilson, an experienced choral conductor from Edinburgh, has been appointed and has begun work with The Choir towards our first concert under his direction in November 2018, based around The Fire Songs of Morten lauridsen, pairing his settings with settings of The same or similar texts by Renaissance composers.

Since our first concert in 1995, Orpheus has presented a multi-concert subscription series each year to great critical acclaim. Orpheus has performed throughout The Dallas-Fort Worth area at venues including The regional conference of The American Choral Directors Association, The Dallas Museum of Art, The Kimbell Museum of Art, UT-Southwestern Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center-Dallas, and numerous public schools. We rehearse weekly and sing a variety of pop, rock, folk, reggae and gospel. SoundRoutes Singers have performed to sellout audiences at venues across The local region and in 2012 recorded our debut EP Changing Key.
