PG Carnivalesque" under the patronage of Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, rector of Gdańsk Tech, attracted several hundred people who listened to daring performances of popular pop music hits. During the performance we heard Choral arrangements of hits such as: "Dancing Queen", "Memory", "California Dreamin'" and "Maria". This time it was not Mozart or Bach, but ABBA, Queen and songs from the musical West Side Story that graced the walls of the Gdansk University of Technology in carnivalesque musical artistic creations.
Jazz musicians performed along with the choir, and the musical effects were accompanied by a unique lighting arrangement, which required appropriate space and audience arrangement.
The more-than-hour-long performance by the Academic Choir of the Gdańsk University of Technology, conducted by Prof. Mariusz Mróz and accompanied by musicians from the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz, ended with joint singing, encores and a standing ovation. less

Duel of the Fates is my favorite song from the Star Wars saga. Watching and hearing the music performed by Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and Coro Sinfónico Lisboa Cantat was amazing. If I wasn't holding the camera, I would have been waving my lightsaber around. I get so hyped up hearing this.

This is footage from their Concert at St Stephani, Bremen in December, 2010.
The text of this piece is really cool. It is about a mystical tribe of desert women who would stamp their feet into the dust creating bEautiful clouds. Light would shine through and create patterns and rainbows. Men would be attracted by these clouds and come to the Women's camp. The Wirindji women would cook for them, mate with them then kill them and eat them! You can hear the bEautiful sounds of the desert landscape, the clusters of sunlight and the dangerous moral :-)
