By engaging in an intense study, could soon join The most important events of prestigious choralcompetitions earning statements in Arezzo and Ravenna in 1978 and 1979 and Gorizia in 1982. The polyphonic sacred and secular music certainly represents The most relevant part of The repertoire that The Polyphonic Group “Claudio Monteverdi” successfully brings to churches and Theaters both in Italy and abroad. Among The repertoire, we can find 1500’s and Baroque musical compositions by Palestrina, Da Victoria, Gallus, Viadana, Hassler, Monteverdi. The constitution and first rehearsal of The choir was held on January 18, 2016.
The choir has been holding since its foundation regular weekly rehearsals, and has grown into The biggest male choir in Croatia, but also wider.
The choir in its repertoire emphasizes classical choral literature, primarily Croatian composers. In addition, The choir's repertoire includes both a cappella compositions of The classical repertoire, from Renaissance to contemporary music, as well as The clapet and compositions of contemporary or popular multilayer music. Members of The choir are present The former students and staff of The Faculty, as well as oTher interested friends and supporters of The Faculty.
Since foundation, choir has won multiple Golden plaques and more than 80 concerts or performances. less
