Our programme varies from stunning ma...  moreHart Voices is a mixed Voice Choir based in Fleet, Hampshire which achieves a high-standard of singing from a non-auditioned Choir. We perform four concerts each year across three terms running from September to July. Our programme varies from stunning major choral works to satisfying chamber music programmes and the occasional light programme of popular numbers! Singers are drawn not only from Fleet and the surrounding area, but also outlying towns including Guildford and Basingstoke. Choir membership is currently around 50 Voices, many of whom have sung with the Choir for several years. The combined experience and enthusiasm enables us to explore new musical horizons - both in repertoire and venue. We aim to broaden our experience, strive for quality and musicality in our performances and involve young singers wherever possible. Concerts are held in Ely Cathedral and other venues locally with professional soloists and orchestras, together with musicians from the Ely and Cambridge area. The Ely Youth Choir for 13 to 18 year olds was launched with great success in 2010 and is aimed at teenagers who want to experience the fun and excitement of choral singing to public audiences.  less

We ...  moreThe Island Consort Chamber Choir is a 20-Voice community chamber Choir that first appeared in concert in late April 2007. Its repertoire is varied and loosely “classical”, focusing on sacred and secular music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. We rehearse Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30. This is an auditioned group with considerable musical and choral experience, one that aspires to a higher standard of performance. Our members include amateur and professional musicians, Choir directors and music educators. Prospective members may audition from time to time as positions come open. Contact the Choir if you have an interest in joining. We perform mostly a cappella pieces, but many of our concerts include accompaniment by members of the Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra and organ.  less

The Larkin Singers has had successful tours to Bristol, UK as resident Choir at Bristol Cathedral and to New York City. They have also presented concerts in Ottawa, London and Kingston.
