In These few years, The young all-girls Choir has grown from strength to strength. Since June 2009, under The direction of Their conductor, Mr Darius Lim, The Choir has garnered numerous accolades and awards to Their name. In 2010 The Choir won The Gold Award at The 3rd Orientale Concentus International Choral Competition in Yilan, Taiwan. The Choir was also Category Winner and was one of four Choirs to be invited to compete in The grand finals. In 2011 The Choir attained Their first Silver award at The Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Choirs. In The same year They came in 2nd at The National A Capella Championships. The Choir has also collaborated with numerous national ensembles such as The Singapore Police Force Band and Choir and The Singapore Armed Forces Band. It is a Choir ensemble of about 25 people, mainly amateurs. They share an incredible passion for music and are keen on spreading Their positive singing energy. The Choir is known for its modern Choral music repertoire, consisting of songs from all over The world as well as pop music masterpieces. The group was awarded a silver medal in pop music category during 5th 'Music Everywhere Festival' in Gdansk in 2019. So far, The Choir has performed in several places in Poland, often The non-obvious ones, trying to make Choral music available to everyone. The Choir’s conductor, Zuzanna Popiołkiewicz, graduated from Conducting faculty at The Academy of Music in Gdansk. We are girls who become like family through our shared passion for music. Each member auditioned by our Choirmaster, andre van der Merwe, and attends Stellenberg High School. Our repertoire consists mainly of Gospel, Acapella, Classical, Folk/Ethnic, and Sacred music. We compete in various national and international competitions and strive to share beautiful music with The world while being cultural ambassadors for our country.
