We are girls who become like family through our shared passion for music. Each member auditioned by our Choirmaster, andre van der Merwe, and attends Stellenberg High School. Our repertoire consists mainly of Gospel, Acapella, Classical, Folk/Ethnic, and Sacred music. We compete in various national and international competitions and strive to share beautiful music with The world while being cultural ambassadors for our country. Achievements: - Overall winners of The "ATKV Nasionale Applous-kompetisie" for 12 times (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011). - In 2002 They won The category for Women's Choirs at The Llangollen International Eisteddfod in Wales. - In 2004, we were awarded The highest percentage for any Choir at The World Choir Olympics. - In 2006 we won The much acclaimed Choir of The World trophy in Llangollen Wales. ...    less

The Joy Voices Choir has not stopped: we have chosen a song from our repertoire and each of us, from our own home, has recorded it. The result is, for us, a new performance, different from The usual, which we share to send you our best wishes so that you can spend this difficult period serenely, despite everything. Our thoughts and prayers are dedicated in particular to those who fight The virus in The front line, to those who work to guarantee us The essential services, to those who are alone, to those who are sick, to those who are in despair, to those who did not make it and to those who have lost a loved one.
