The group was set up to perform exciting vocal material at a variety of events, and to give men and women who Love singing, the platform to get involved in a fun and sociable musical experience. The Voice Of The Town family has now grown and not only do we have our choirs in Newcastle and Glasgow, but we now have choirs in Edinburgh and Birmingham.

Season's highlights include community concerts, domestic and international performance tours, collaborations with artists and arts organizations, and recording. We have a varied repertoire of well-known pop and jazz Songs, as well as the occasional folk song. A mixed choir or various age groups, we have regular concerts in the Berlin region, but also further afield, often abroad.  Our repertoire consists mainly of folk, gospel, pop and freedom Songs all sung in glorious 4 part harmony and mostly in a capella style. All choir members have online access to MP3 recordings of their parts so they can practise anytime.

We Love welcoming new people so it would be great to have you along. There is no audition and everyone is welcome to come and check us out for a night before they join.  less
