Pushing the idea that creativity is the strategic tool of the 21st century, she says how our voices have been silenced and that it's not doing us any good. She explains how singing is a survival mechanism, how it makes our hearts beat together and can help heal strokes and depression. With singing, and the potential she believes it has, Tania dedicates herself to enhancing and promoting ingenuity and founded Creativity Australia and Creative Universe to do so. As a leading Australian soprano and through 'With One voice', Tania works with disadvantaged communities. In 2008 she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for services to the arts and for the establishment and development of arts enrichment programs for schools and communities. "Digapoli" was the name of the small village where the workers who built the Cancano dam lived. The Cancano dam is located in Valtellina, in norther Italy. DIGAPOLI (Cancano-Valdidentro) è il nome della piccola cittadina che si era formata per ospitare i lavoratori durante la costruzione delle dighe di Cancano (Diga-Polis) Fuggì la notte a passi di cerbiatta e già in cantiere urla la sirena. Founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic amateur singers, our repertoire ranges from the great classical choral works to modern ...  moreFrodsham & District Choral Society is a thriving, friendly, non-auditioned mixed voice choir of 90 singers of all ages. Founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic amateur singers, our repertoire ranges from the great classical choral works to modern contemporary pieces. Under the skilled direction of Howard Kane, who was appointed musical director in 2008, and ably assisted by Robert Woods the choir has grown in size and reputation. Rehearsals Monday nights are rehearsal nights which are held in Frodsham Methodist Church, Kingsley Rd, WA6 6BA from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are welcome to come along and give us a try. We rehearse from September through to July for our four main concerts, which are held in Frodsham, and also take our music to other venues in the area. Groups of singers from within the choir are available to sing at weddings and the choir regularly puts on events to raise money for local charities.  less
