It was officially inaugurated in September 2011 and was widely attended by thousands of choral music lovers across the country. The group has performed at numerous high profile functions like the international leadership awards night (tuzoya oungozi), national peace makers rally at the national theater among others. The group also embarked on a nationwide peace campaign tour which was dubbed "11.11.12 - Sing Ghana 4 peace". The choir is noted for music evangelism and charity projects in Ghana. In July 2011, they sang in Ottawa at the Unisong festival for Canada Day, and in July 2013 the group was featured at the presitigious and exciting international Festival 500 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Wherever the choir travels, we spread the joy of music-making and hope to bring communities together through song. We Annually we perform two large concerts with professional soloists and orchestral musicians in Carlow, ‘Glory of Christmas’ in the National Concert Hall and annual ‘Christmas Crackers’ family concert in the George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Carlow. We have a remarkable repertoire of many choral works such as Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s St. Mathews & St. John Passion, Verdi’s Requiem, Haydn’s The Creation & Seasons, Brahm’s Requiem & many more.
