Aimed mainly at singers in the "young professional" category, it is for people who are looking for a Choir with a difference - a great social atmosphere and a challenging, varied repertoire. An auditioned Choir of around 25 members, Tamesis is a high-Standard Choir, capable of singing 8-part repertoire on a few rehearsals and having fun while doing it! We've juSt recorded our second CD which will be released in Autumn 2012.

The Choir was founded in 1998 by its musical director, Stephen Shellard, in order to draw together a group of high quality singers from the local area to develop a concert repertoire and further enrich the choral tradition of WorceSter Cathedral. The Choir was eStablished in 2005 by Bartosz Michałowski, a long-time assiStant to Prof. Stefan Stuligrosz, founder of the famous "Poznan Nightingales" Boys´ and Men´s Choir of the Poznan Philharmonic.
