It's The group's vision to inspire a life-long love for good music and church leadership in The young singers through The pursuit and enjoyment of musical and oTher artistic excellence.
Children from ages 6 to 18 residing in Accra with consent from guardians are given The opportunity to join through auditioning. Its membership currently stands at 65.
The choir sings during communion and lead congregational singing during Sunday School anniversary. It organises celebration musical programmes including Nativity musicals, parents' days' celebration and children's choral festivals.

Spera means hope in Latin, and it is a members’ shared vision on music. All members studied a sacred choral music under Koji Oguchi, choir director, when They were high school students. They were deeply touched by Oguchi’s music and established The Ensemble Choir SPERA. Making its debut in Concert in March 2014 at Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall, SPERA’s music was highly prized and well-reviewed in newspapers. It serves in Masses and services and performs in Concerts as an ecumenical choir, composed of students from Kitasato University, International Christian University, Hitotsubashi University and Rikkyo University.
