O Concerto de Natal “A Little Jazz Mass” de Bob Chilcott tem como protagonistas o Coro Pactis e os Wave Jazz Ensemble que subiram ao palco do Centro Cultural e de Congressos de Angra do Heroísmo, no dia 20 de dezembro, para mostrar a articulação de dois p... moreO Concerto de Natal “A Little Jazz Mass” de Bob Chilcott tem como protagonistas o Coro Pactis e os Wave Jazz Ensemble que subiram ao palco do Centro Cultural e de Congressos de Angra do Heroísmo, no dia 20 de dezembro, para mostrar a articulação de dois projetos distintos numa toada jazz em ambiente natalício.
Trata-se de uma peça com cinco andamentos, escrita para o coro infantil New Orleans Children, aquando da participação no Crescent City Festival de New Orleans, em 2009. Fazem ainda parte da peça alguns clássicos de Natal como "Zat You Santa Claus", popularizado por Louis Armstrong; "Little Drummer Boy" ou "Silent Night" com arranjos próprios do quinteto.
Enquanto o Coro Pactis tem Fátima Gonçalves na direção musical, o Wave Jazz Ensemble integra os músicos Rui Melo, Paulo Cunha, Paulo Borges, Nuno Pinheiro e Antonella Barletta.

The Choir comprises of students from various academic courses and generally only a few members study music. The Choir, an ensemble of approximately 80 – 100 Voices, has won international acclaim through performances, concert tours, and participation in prestigious festivals and competitions.
The Choir is currently ranked 1st on The Interkultur World Ranking List for amateur choirs.

Dainius DRUSKIS is The artistic director of The choir since 2014 when he took The lead of choir from professor Albinas Petrauskas, who guided The choir since its first rehersal for 42 years.
Each musical season of „LELIUMAI“ is designated to performances of choir music to The listeners in cities and towns in Lithuania, extraordinary festivals and meetings with The choirs abroad, unforgetable participation in Lithuanian Song festivals.
During its history „LELIUMAI“ has been awarded The highest titles in national choir competitions in Lithuania, has won The third prize at The international choir competition in Ireland (Cork) in 1983.
Choir performances are rich with pieces of various styles, special part of The repertoir is assigned to The contemporary Lithuanian music. Several Lithuanian artists have dedicated Their compositions to LELIUMAI.
