It was performed by The Stairwell Carollers on Dec 18, 2009 at their "Carols à la Carte" concert, where the audience got to choose their favorite 15 carols from a list of 25. The Stairwell Carollers are an a cappella Ottawa choir, formed in 1977 by director Pierre Massie. A non-profit organization, they raise funds for local charities through concert, CD and cookbook sales. Buy our CDs!!! As a non-auditioned chorus, we inspire singers at all levels of ability to improve their vocal technique through informative rehearsals and performances of a wide variety of music, including sacred and secular, classical and popular, and historic and contemporary

Our repertoire embraces operatic and lighter music alongside classical choral works, with orchestra, from Bach to Bernstein, and a wide range of a cappella repertoire, which we have also toured abroad. Our second CD was released in November 2009. A friendly choir of 60-70 singers, we give four main local concerts a year and enjoy touring. Since 2002, our concert tours have included Lake Garda, Venice, Umbria, Tuscany, Kraków, Amiens and Ghent. In the UK we have performed at the London Coliseum (2006), Ely Cathedral (2007), the Southbank Centre (2010) and Winchester Cathedral (2011).  less
