İnci Tığlı Ayağ. Since its foundation, Alegria Chamber Choir has been performing under the guidance of conductor İnci Tığlı Ayağ and assistant conductor Gözde Saatçioğlu. Between 2002 and 2008, Alegria Chamber Choir performed under the scope of Ankara Çoksesli Müzik Derneği (Ankara Polyphonic Music Association), a prestigious association which was founded in 1974. Since 2008, the choir has been extending his repertoire and performing fully independently as a non-profit and non-governmental organization. The purpose of Alegria is to introduce to large audiences the world’s choir repertoire from different periods and regions. Alegria has now about 30 members divided into four voices and performs music dating from the Renaissance to Contemporary in all styles such as sacred and folk. With an emphasis on play and discovery, this group explores singing and music in a secure but exciting environment. Tamariki offers a focus on thorough and excellent music education, with singers learning about healthy vocal production, the body-voice connection, and vibrant performance presence as well as a strong emphasis on musical literacy, music theory, and sightsinging skills. As with all our ensembles, Tamariki provides a secure and accepting social environment where all singers feel their importance as members of the group. Most importantly, Tamariki has fun and creates exciting music! To better address the different needs and abilities of this diverse age range, the choir is now split into two streams: Tamariki 1 is for singers in Kindergarten and Grade 1. On its first attempt at ...  moreFormally organized in August 2006, the Ars Cantica Ensemble is a choral group composed of young professionals from different university choirs who want to spread the Word of God through musical talent and commitment to service. On its first attempt at competitions in 2007, the group won Second Runner-Up in the prestigious PAGCOR Chorale Festival and was chosen as one of the top five winners in the Paskong Himig sa Lungsod ng PASIG Chorale Competition. In December 2007, the Ars Cantica Ensemble was featured at the Opening Ceremonies of the Amazing European Union Christmas held at The Podium, Ortigas and was one of the choirs invited to grace the Sing For Me Project of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. In February 2010, Ars Cantica Ensemble emerged as one of the winners in Sa ‘Yo Lamang Chorale Fest, a choral competition sponsored by ABS-CBN and Star Records. Participation always begins in the Fall semester, and continues all the way to graduation commencement in June.
